Mindfulness and coaching are my key areas of passion: I am inspired by helping people make progress in their personal and professional development.

With a twenty year career spanning teaching, publishing, digital product development (EdTech) and Corporate Social Responsibility, I have gained a thorough understanding of a variety of business and educational contexts. I now am drawing on that in my work as a trained mindfulness teacher and qualified coach.

I have been practising mindfulness since 2013, after completing a MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) course at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. In 2016 I went onto train as a Workplace Mindfulness (CMI recognised) teacher with The Mindfulness Exchange. I also regularly attend CPD at Oxford University’s Oxford Mindfulness Centre including Chris Cullen’s Weekend Teacher Training Course on delivery the Frantic World course to non-clinical populations.

Since 2017 I have been Pearson UK’s Mindfulness Lead, developing and delivering their programme of mindfulness courses. Over the last two years I have delivered the one-hour intro course to over 650 employees, the six-week Workplace Mindfulness course to 350 people and Mindfulness for Innovation course to 150 people across all levels of Pearson UK.

I am also an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Level 5 Qualified Coach and have worked coaching individuals within a variety of business settings.

I have a degree in Philosophy from Southampton University and a PGCE from Cambridge University. Having taught in the UK and Italy, I have spent the majority of my career in educational publishing, product development and Ed Tech.

Further, I have held the position of Corporate Responsibility Manager and was responsible for overseeing HarperCollins UK’s Environmental and Charity and Community programmes. At Pearson UK I have worked on Diversity and Inclusion programmes, especially around LGBT and in 2016 I completed the Stonewall Leadership programme.
